At SmartCentres, we’re for kids. We believe that strong families lead to strong communities. And we invest in both in the communities in which we build and operate. It’s our way of saying “thank you” to the communities we work with and the customers who shop at our centres.

Every child is unique. But regardless of age and the level of development, every child needs love, nurturing, encouragement and support to meet life’s challenges. We want children to be safe, secure, engaged and stimulated.

In 2002, SmartCentres launched “We’re For Kids!” – a program dedicated to supporting the health and safety of children across the country. “We’re For Kids!” supports numerous community-based causes in cities where we are developing and operating shopping centres.

Our focus in our “We’re For Kids!” Program is the physical, emotional and spiritual health or wellness of children.

It is in that spirit that we are dedicating our “We’re For Kids!” program to the wellness of children all over Canada.
